Volunteer: Planning Commissioners Sought: Open Until Filled
The Town of Gate City is accepting applications for two vacancies on the Gate City Planning Commission. Applicants will be appointed to serve the unexpired portion of one one-year term ending March 2010 and one three-year term ending March 2012. Applicants must be residents in the town. The Planning Commission assists in anticipating and guiding future development by preparing plans, ordinances, studies, reports, and other items for consideration by the Town Council. Applications are available from the Town Clerk at Gate City Town Hall, 156 East Jackson Street, Gate City, Virginia. Vacancies will be open until filled.
