Volunteer: Board Members Sought: Open Until Filled

The Town of Gate City is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Sanitation Board, Planning Commission and Building Code Board of Appeals. The Sanitation Board deals with matters related to sewerage within the Town, among other duties.  The purpose of the Gate City Planning Commission is to assist the Gate City Town Council with action requests for re-zoning, 5-year plans for the Town and other actions concerning the orderly growth of the Town, among other duties.  The Building Code Board of Appeals hears appeals of the code official under Part 3 of the Uniform Statewide Building Code and appeals of actions filed under the Town's Property Maintenance Code.  Applications are available from the Town Clerk at Gate City Town Hall, 156 East Jackson Street, Gate City, Virginia.      Vacancies will be open until filled.       For more information, contact Town Hall at (276) 386-3831.                           Application for Town Committee or Commission
